Your client must email in to email@example.com indicating which portfolio they would like to be moved to. Alternatively, they can CC us on email to you indicating the portfolio change. All communication must come directly from the client and we cannot accept forwarded emails from your client. Your client can also schedule a phone call if they prefer.
Please note, we can only accept email instructions to move to a sub-advisor that uses ETFs or mutual funds. If the sub-advisor uses other securities or strategies, the client is required to speak with a portfolio manager.
As an advisor on the MFDA platform, you are responsible for the suitability of your client. Any portfolio changes must be discussed with the client and notes entered in order to make changes.
